Traffic Innovations has been selected as a finalist at the Manufacturers’ Monthly Endeavour Awards 2011 in the ‘Industrial Product of the Year’ category for the company’s iStud range of detectors and warning devices. The company’s iStud range is manufactured in Australia by manufacturing partner Wavetronics in its world‐class, ISO certified facility in Sydney.
Traffic Innovations congratulates Hoshizaki Lancer, who took out the Industrial Product of the Year category with its ‘Ecco Heat’ heat recovery system that recovers previously wasted heat from existing refrigeration plants. The Manufacturers' Monthly Endeavour Awards are Australia's premier national awards for manufacturing excellence. They celebrate and recognise the achievements of industry leaders in their drive to achieve 'best practice' and excellence in manufacturing. Traffic Innovations has been victorious at the Electronics News 2010 Future Awards. The company’s iStud range of vehicle detection and monitoring solutions was declared the winner of the automotive category as well as receiving the “Best of the Best” award at the end of the night. In accepting the awards, Traffic Innovations Director, Jim Morris commented “The iStud platform is the culmination of a long and exhaustive period of product development. These awards recognise our efforts and will raise our profile in the marketplace. I’m especially proud that our system is wholly Australian designed and is being produced in Australia by our manufacturing partner Wavetronics in their world‐class, ISO certified facility here in Sydney.”
The Electronics News Future Awards recognise and reward excellence in Australia’s electronics engineering and design industries. This year’s sixth annual event was contested by 35 finalists.
